Draft for review. This document is a plain-language starting point, not legal advice. It must be reviewed by qualified counsel and have its placeholders completed before it is relied upon.
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you may not do with the rpc edge Services. It is part of our Terms of Service. We may update it to address new forms of abuse.
1. Prohibited conduct
You must not use the Services to:
- Violate any law or regulation, or facilitate illegal activity.
- Attack, overload, disrupt, or impair the Services or any network or system — including denial-of-service attacks, flooding, or attempts to exceed or evade rate limits.
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services, or breach security or authentication measures, without our prior written permission.
- Reverse-engineer, resell, sublicense, or white-label the Services except under a separate written agreement.
- Distribute malware, conduct phishing, or engage in fraud.
- Infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights.
2. Sanctions and restricted parties
You may not use the Services if you are located in, or are a national or resident of, a country or region subject to comprehensive sanctions, or if you are on any applicable sanctions or denied-party list. You are responsible for complying with all applicable export-control and sanctions laws.
3. Fair use and rate limits
Shared plans are subject to rate limits and fair-use expectations so that the Services remain fast and reliable for everyone. Sustained usage that degrades the Services for others may be throttled or require a dedicated plan.
4. Market integrity
You must not use the Services to engage in market manipulation or other conduct that is unlawful in the markets where you operate. rpc edge provides neutral infrastructure and takes no part in your trading strategies.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and may throttle, suspend, or terminate access, with or without notice, to protect the Services and other users. Serious or repeated violations may be reported to authorities.
6. Reporting abuse
Report abuse or security issues to abuse@rpcedge.com.
